Oppo RX17 Neo has been announced in Europe and will be hitting the stores pretty soon. Specifically, in Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands. It’s safe to say the RX17 Neo is just a rebranded K1 that’s targeting the Europe market. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 660 chip with the trendy in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Design
The device was built with aluminium alloy just like the K1 and looks quite identical to it. There’s no rear fingerprint scanner because it has been officially moved to the screen. Only the dual rear camera is seen at the top left corner. It measures 7.4 mm in thickness, weighs 156g overall and will be available in only Blue and Red colors.
Display
The RX17 Neo is built around a 6.41-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED water-drop display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 402 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 84.4% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Color OS 5.2 skin on top. Running the race here is the Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 512 graphics card takes care of graphics in the graphics department. For storing up your files, the RX17 Neo packs 128GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. You get 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Oppo RX17 Neo features dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera for photography. The cameras is loaded with autofocus, depth sensor, LED flash, phase detection and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, it’s equipped with a 25MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the RX17 Neo is a 3600mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3 hours.
