Oppo K1 is finally here guys, this is the first smartphone from Oppo’s K series. The device is loaded with lots of features which was missing on the Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro. Firstly, it’s equipped with the trendy in-display fingerprint scanner and sports the waterdrop notch display. Lets Just say it’s a slightly upgraded version of the Oppo A7X with more advanced features.
Design
Just like the F9, the K1 was designed with the diamond pattern metal and glass body which gives off a gradient feel. Of course, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the screen for a more convenient access to the device. It measures 7.4mm in thickness and will be available in Red and Blue colors only.
Display
The K1 is built around a 6.4-inch AMOLED water-drop display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 84.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 660 chipset from Qualcomm sits behind the screen, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 512 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space variants which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB/6GB RAM space variants for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The K1 is equipped with a dual 16MP + 2MP rear shooter for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a 13MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Oppo K1 is a 3600mAh battery capacity with Vooc fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
