OKEx wins “Crypto Exchange of the Year” beats Binance, BitBay

OKEx has just won the Crypto Exchange of the Year at the Malta’s Cryptocurrency Conference. The platform which is the second largest exchange in the world beats Binance and others to claim the title.

According to the press release, the award shows the hardwork of the crypto exchange platform. The exchange also said the award was just a recognition of its commitment to blockchain technology development and contribution to easy online exchange.

Chairman of the Malta Stock Exchange, Joseph Portelli who was at the event said they are thrilled to be teaming up with OKEx, a leader in the digital currency sector to help make Malta a Blockchain Island.

OKEx’s Head of Operations, Andy Cheung who was super excited to collect the award said they will continue to push the limits regarding technological innovation to give users the best possible experience.

“Thank you for recognizing our ongoing efforts, it’s an honour really”, he said. Binance, the world’s most important Exchange and BitBay, the most important European exchanges in the market both lost to OKEx after a panel of 32 crypto personalities made the decision.

Meanwhile, the crypto world has been pretty much stable today, with no major significant changes in price compared to yesterday. Although, there’s a new entry to the top 20 Cryptocurrencies today.

Infinity Economics XIN reached the number 20 in terms of market capitalization today. The coin went from $0.00279 to $0.00311 gaining 10.81% in price, making it the top performer in the top 20 today.
