Nomu S50 Pro is another rugged beast that was unveiled today, the device will be available on shopping stores immediately. Nomi also claimed the S50 Pro is their most powerful Rugged Smartphone yet. Coming with IP68 certifications, NFC, octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Lets find out more.
Design
The S50 Pro is as rugged as they come, it sports an aluminium alloy + Polycarbonate overall unibody. The device is literally ready for anything thrown at it. We can also see the single rear camera and a fingerprint scanner underneath at the rear. It measures 14.3mm in thickness and is available in Black and Orange colors on shopping stores.
Display
The phone is built around a 5.72-inch HD+ 18:9 full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 281 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 68.53% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P23 chipset from MediaTek runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.0GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB with a memory card. It has 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with a 16MP rear camera with autofocus for photography and accompanied with other internal features. While for selfies, it sports an 8MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 5000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 3.2 hours.
