The X6 comes in an Aluminum body and this device has a glass on the rear along with an aluminum casing running all along the edges sandwiched between the glass display on the front and back glass. It also has an aluminum frame around the edges which peeks around the display on the front which adds slight bezels and a small chin at the bottom.
It has a rear fingerprint sensor located underneath the cameras. While the 8.1 has an Aluminum alloy body and it has notch at the top also, its notch houses the front camera and it has a rear fingerprint scanner. The X6 weighs less at 151g, while the 8.1 weighs 185g.

The X6 sports a tall 5.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, the screen has a pixel per inch density of 432. While, the 8.1 sports a 6.18-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 2246 x 1080 pixels in resolution and 402ppi.

The X6 houses a Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon
636 chipset with an octa-core processor clocking speed of up to 1.8GHz. The X6 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
While the 8.1 houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with Octa-core processor clocking at 2.2GHz. In the RAM department, the 8.1 has 4GB/6GB and 64GB/128GB storage space.
For the Software, the X6 runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. While the 8.1 runs on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
