New Zealand Investigates 3 Crypto Companies, adds them to Blacklist

The Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand also known as New Zealand’s financial watchdog have added 3 crypto companies to their blacklist for possessing “characteristics of a scam”.

The three companies, OneLife Network Limited, OneCoin Limited and Bitcoin Revolution Limited haven’t been registered under the financial markets and were holding promotional events in the country.

One of the companies, Bitcoin Revolution Limited is promising potential clients up to $1,000 per hour in profit after investment.

The FMA calls this “unrealistic”, and has begin investigating the three companies and their projects.

The cryptocurrencies market is pretty stable today, with a few greens in the top 20 coins. Bitcoin is still trading around $3,454 after after one of the worst 30 days in history.
