Motorola P30 has been slightly introduced by the company ahead of its official launch tomorrow. The P30 smartphone looks exactly like the P30 Note we reviewed earlier. Of course, it comes with the trendy notched screen and the iPhone X-like dual rear cameras.
Design
The P30 smartphone looks like the Lenovo Z5 and comes with similar specs and features. It has an aluminium body with glass on top and will be available in Black, Blue and White. It sports the dual camera and fingerprint scanner at the rear, measures 8.9mm in thickness but weighs 170g.
Display
The front is built around a tall 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with the trendy 19:9 edge to edge screen. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels along with a 402 pixel per inch density for clear visuals.
Software and Hardware
The stunning beauty runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 636 chip does the number crunching and comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.8GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 509 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB/128GB of internal storage, this is expandable up to 256GB. It has 6GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera for photography, the cameras are accompanied by a LED flash in-between and other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 13MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3000mAh battery capacity with fast charging. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.8 hours.
