Motorola Moto Z3 has been launched by Motorola in Chicago, US. It’s the latest installment to the Z3 series from Motorola that gives flagship features for those on a budget. The device is IP67, offering splash and dust resistant. Lets find out more.
Design
The body of the device is made of aluminum frame, specifically from the 6000 series. It will be available in only Ceramic Black color. At the top middle, we can see the circular foundation which houses the dual rear camera and LED flash. It has a side fingerprint scanner, measures 6.8mm in thickness and weighs 156g as well.
Display
The front is built around a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display. This has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels along with a 402 pixel per inch density. The screen also stretches up to 77.9% screen-to-body ratio with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
Software and Hardware
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Inside the device, it’s powered by the Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chip with 8-cores of processor, this reaches a clocking speed of up to 2.35GHz.
For storage, the device packs a standard 64GB of internal storage and supports microSD of up to 512GB. It also has 4GB of RAM for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 12MP + 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture for photography. The camera comes with a laser AF feature and LED flash. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies.
Battery
The device is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery capacity with fast charging. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 1.6 hours.
