Xiaomi previously announced mid-last year that its flagship UI, the MIUI 10 will be available for budget-friendly smartphones like Redmi Note 5A Prime, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. However, none of those devices received the update.
Yesterday, Xiaomi started rolling out the MIUI 10 stable version globally for all these devices, users who own these devices can now enjoy MIUI 10 features. Today, people who own the above devices globally are now showing us that they have updated to the flagship user interface.
The new MIU10 on these devices bring updated system Android security patch. There are also a few updates to Phone, Lockscreen, Status Bar, Notification Bar, Settings and Recorder. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t come with Android Oreo, this means these devices might never receive Oreo.
