LG Xpression Plus has been launched by the tech giant through AT&T, we can exclusively confirm. The device is the latest smartphone from the Xpression series and targets those on a budget. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset. It will be joining the LG it V36, Phoenix 4 and Rebel 4 on shopping stores.
Design
The phone was designed mainly with Plastic just like most budget-friendly smartphones from the company. The rear camera starts a vertical train at the top middle, while the LED flash follows closely underneath before the fingerprint scanner completes the train. It measures 8.6mm in thickness, weighs 168g and will be available in only Blue colors, a source revealed.
Display
The Xpression Plus is built around of a 5.3-inch HD IPS LCD standard display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1280 pixels in resolution along with a 277 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 69.52% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the new Snapdragon 425 chipset from Qualcomm runs the race, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.4GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 308 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 2GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The LG Xpression Plus features an 8MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s an 5MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Xpression Plus is a 3000mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.2 hours.
