The LG V40 ThinQ is built with aluminum alloy and glass, it has a notch that can be hidden. Its bezels are thinner, while the corners and edges of the glass adhere to the V line’s curvy aesthetic. The back is minimal with three horizontally aligned cameras and a fingerprint sensor. While the Huawei P20 Pro is also made of aluminum alloy, it has a glass back and a notched display. The fingerprint sensor is beneath the display at the front.

While the Huawei P20 Pro houses the HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset with Octa-core processor clocking at 2.4GHz. In the RAM department, the Huawei P20 Pro has 6GB and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage space.
