Hello Xiaomi and Huawei, the Lenovo Z5 Pro is now official and it’s cheaper than the Honor Magic 2 and Mi Mix 3. The Z5 Pro is the cheapest slider phone to hit the market right now. There’s no SD845, but Lenovo adopted the Snapdragon 710 with the same 10nm process technology, meaning it’s on par with the SD845 in terms of power efficiency. That’s not all, it’s equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner which was missing on the Mi Mix 3.
Design
Unlike the others, the Z5 Pro features just four Cameras, two comes up with the slider, while the other two sits at the rear. It’s built with aluminium alloy with glass on top. It measures 9.3mm in thickness, weighs 210g overall as well and is available in only Black.
Display
The Z5 Pro is built around a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED totally bezel-less display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the beautiful screen stretches up to 88.75% screen-to-body as well and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with ZUI 10. Running the race here is the Snapdragon 710 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 616 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB/128GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of a massive 6GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Lenovo Z5 Pro features dual 24MP + 16MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a dual 16MP + 8MP Selfie shooters on the slider for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the Z5 Pro is a 3350mAh battery capacity, there’s support for fast charging here. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
