Lava R3 Note has been introduced alongside the R3 Prime we reported earlier. The device is officially the company’s first smartphone with Notch Display. Unlike the A22 chip we saw on the Prime version, the Note version houses the Helio P22 chipset. The highlight of the R3 Note is the tall 6.22″ HD+ notch display.
Design
It was designed with both metal and plastic, it sports a single rear camera at the top left corner and a fingerprint reader at the centre, there’s also support for Face Unlock. It measures 8.04mm in thickness, weighs 153.8g and will be available in Illusion Blue and Champagne Gold.
Display
The R3 Note is built around a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1480 pixels in resolution along with a 269 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 82.9% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, is the Helio P22 (MT6762) chipset from MediaTek which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.0GHz offering a smooth ride.
The IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 16GB/32GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 256GB using a memory card. It comes with 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Lava R3 Note houses a 13MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the R3 Note is a 3260mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.1 hours.
