Land Rover debuts the X smartphone with 6GB RAM, NFC and 4000mAh Battery

After introducing the Explore smartphone last year, Land Rover is back with a new smartphone tagged X. The smartphone just went on sale today in Russia via the official Land Rover mobile store.

The Land Rover X is marketed as the most stylish secure smartphone in the world. It’s powered by the Helio P23 octa-core processor with a massive 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.

Although it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, it brings along the trendy features like Face ID to unlock the device at a glance. Design-wise, the company integrated the Premium leather material seen on its motor racing cars. The screen is built around a 5.7″ HD+ display.

As a rugged smartphone, the device is IP68 certified, while adopting dual 16MP + 8MP shooters from SONY with a 13MP selfie camera which boasts of a viewing angle of 100°.

Connectivity options include dual 4G support on both SIM cards, or an option to upgrade up to 256GB using the SIM 2 slot. There’s also contactless payment module NFC, 2-band Wi-Fi, GPS + GLONASS. It’s available for 23990 Russian Rubles ($366).
