Karbonn Platinum P9 Pro was also introduced alongside the Platinum P9 2018. The Pro version targets those who wants more storage and RAM space on a budget as well. Nonetheless, it still looks like the NUU Mobile G2. Karbonn also stated the rear camera has been enhanced as well for clear photographs.
Design
There’s no difference here in terms of design, it sports a combination of Metal and Plastic. Specifically, a metal frame and a Plastic back. The usual rear features are still in the usual position, including the rear fingerprint scanner, you can also make use of the Face ID technology as well. It measures 9.35mm in thickness and weighs 144g overall, it’s only available in Blue colour only.
Display
The Platinum P9 Pro sports the same 5.45-inch IPS LCD 18:9 full view display. The screen boasts of 480 x 960 pixels in resolution along with a 197 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 72.87% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.4GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Platinum P9 Pro is equipped with dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters for photography. The camera is accompanied by a dual-LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Karbonn Platinum P9 Pro is a 2500mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2 hours.
