The iPod Touch 7th Generation with a faster processor is expected to launch this year, although no details of the upcoming device is known yet and rumours are at their earliest stages. However, today, the very first render of the upcoming iPod has surfaced.
According to rumours and renders, the upcoming iPod Touch will come with no notch whatsoever. However, that made us doubt the authenticity of the render, so we did a little bit of digging.
It appears the render flying around is a fan made render, the photo was stolen from a post on MacRumours and then Photoshopped. Only the screen was Photoshopped, with all the bezels removed.
I mean, if there’s going to be an iPod with no notch, it should at least have a pop-up camera for FaceTime. We all know Apple will first reveal such a tech on this year’s iPhone flagships before bringing it to the iPod. Nonetheless, Apple is working on the AirPower and new AirPods, which will be released in the first quarter of 2019.
