Infinix Zero 6 has been silently introduced by Infinix Mobility after several leaks and rumours. This is an upgrade to the Zero 5 flagship smartphone released in late 2017. The new Zero 6 is the first Infinix smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 series. The device is equipped with dual 12MP + 24MP rear shooters, that’s the highest combination of camera pixels on an Infinix device.
Design
Unlike the S3X and S3X Pro that comes with plastic, the new Zero 6 is built with both Metal and Glass. There’s also a rear fingerprint scanner and support for Face Unlock feature as well. Although, the parameters are still unknown, but the device was introduced in Gold, Black and Blue gradient colors.
Display
The Zero 6 is built around a 6.2-inch FHD+ IPS LCD notch display, just like the affordable Hot 6X Pro. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2246 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 81% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with XOS 4.0 skin. Running the race, is the Snapdragon 636 chip from Qualcomm which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.8GHz offering a smooth ride.
The Adreno 509 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 64GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 256GB using a memory card. It comes with 6GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Infinix Zero 6 houses dual 12MP + 24MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 20MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the Zero 6 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
