Huawei Nova 4 has been introduced by Huawei after several leaks and rumours. Huawei is ready to tackle new Samsung Galaxy A8s with this new device. The Nova 4 comes with an in-display selfie camera, the same feature we saw on the A8s. It’s powered by the same Kirin 970 chipset on the P20 Pro, but sports a more advanced triple rear camera (48MP + 16MP + 2MP combo). Lets find out more.
Design
The device was designed with aluminium alloy and it looks absolutely stunning, the triple rear camera were positioned perfectly at the top left corner. Although, Huawei left the fingerprint scanner at the back, there’s support for Face Unlock. It measures 7.8mm in thickness, weighs 172g overall and available in Aurora Blue, Red, White and Black colors.
Display
The Nova 4 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ IPS LCD totally bezel-less display with screenhole. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2310 pixels in resolution along with a 398 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 86% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset from Huawei comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.4GHz offering a smooth ride.
The Mali-G72 MP12 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 128GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 512GB using a memory card. It comes with 8GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Huawei Nova 4 houses triple 48MP + 16MP + 2MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 25MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Battery
Powering up the Nova 4 is a 3750mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
