Huawei Maimang 7 has just been unveiled in China with four cameras. The Maimang 7 looks identical to the Huawei Mate 20 Lite and targets the Chinese market. The device will also be available globally. It comes with four cameras and powered by the new KIRIN 710 mid-range chip.
Design
The Maimang 7 looks almost identical to the Mate 20 Lite, it has an Aluminium alloy + Polycarbonate mix body which reflects light beautifully. The dual rear camera are vertical at the top middle with a fingerprint scanner underneath and a LED flash beside it.
Display
The phone sports a tall 6.3-inch FHD+ 18:9 full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2340 pixels in resolution along with a 409 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 82% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Emotion 8.2 UI on top. Under the hood, the HiSilicon KIRIN 710 chipset from Huawei runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.2GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G51 MP4 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It has 4GB/6GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 20MP + 2MP rear camera with autofocus for photography and accompanied with other internal features. While for selfies, it sports dual 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3750mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2.5 hours.
