Huawei introduces the World’s Fastest 5G Foldable Phone “Mate X”

A few days ago, Samsung launched its first foldable phone. Well, Huawei is following the trend with the release of its first foldable phone, the Huawei Mate X. The device has three screens. There’s the first noticeable screen which is the 6.6-inch display and the 6.38-inch display.

Though the device is not in the market yet, we have the specifications. It’s expected to be available for sale by the middle of the year with starting price of around €2,669 euros. Don’t worry about size, the device is just 5.4mm when folded.

The Mate X is bundled with 8GB of ROM and 128GB of internal storage, alongside the Kirin 980. As you’ve guessed, it has 5G support too and is also the first device to support the NSA protocol which is the feature of 5G connectivity.

The battery is expected to last since it’s a 4400maH cell with support for fast-charge at a maximum of 55W power output, which is the world’s fastest charging as you can attain 85% charge in 30 minutes. The power button and fingerprint are merged in this device and when folded out, the device becomes an 8-inch display screen.
