The Huawei Honor V20 and V20 Moschino Edition has been introduced today by Huawei in China. They both look like the Huawei Nova 4 that was introduced weeks ago from the front, sporting the screen-hole display. You can watch the unboxing video below.
However, it’s powered by the Kirin 980 flagship chipset with its 7nm process node and a new Link Turbo technology. The device has a starting price of ¥2,999, while the Moschino Edition with 8GB RAM and 256GB starts from ¥3,999.
Design
It’s built with both Metal and Glass, and looks absolutely stunning and different from the Nova 4. It’s also equipped with just dual rear camera, one of those is a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. It also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner, measures 8.1mm in thickness, weighs 180g and will be available in Red, Black and Blue color.
Display
The V20 is built around a 6.4-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen-hole display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2310 pixels in resolution along with a 398 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 84% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box with EMUI 9.0 skin on top. Steering the wheel, is the Kirin 980 chipset from Huawei which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.6GHz offering a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G76 MP10 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 128GB/256GB internal storage space for storing your files. It comes with 6GB/8GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Huawei Honor V20 houses dual 48MP + 0.3MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 25MP shooter with its screen-hole.
Battery
Powering up the V20 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
