Huawei Honor 8C has officially found its way to shopping stores. The Honor 8C is the latest Honor smartphone that will be joining the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max on shopping stores. The 8C is powered by the Snapdragon 632 and it’s already in the same price range with Redmi Note 6 Pro. There’s an AI-powered dual camera at the rear, notch display and massive battery capacity.
Design
The phone was designed with a Plastic back and an aluminium frame. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner sitting at the centre, while the dual rear camera are vertical at the top left corner. It measures 7.98mm in thickness, weighs 167g and will be available in Black, Blue and Gold colors.
Display
The Honor 8C is equipped with a 6.26-inch HD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1520 pixels in resolution along with a 269 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 81.41% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 632 chipset from Qualcomm runs the race, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.8GHz for a smooth ride.
The Adreno 506 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 32GB/64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB using a memory card. It boasts of 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The Huawei Honor 8C features a dual 13MP + 2MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Honor 8C is a 4000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
