Haier Alpha A6 is now officially available on shopping stores for just a token. The device is Haier latest smartphone targeting those on a budget or old people. Alternatively, it’s perfect for a second device without spending much. This is coming months after we saw the Power P10. It’s built around a full view display and sports dual rear camera.
Design
The phone was made from plastic, which isn’t surprising for a budget-friendly smartphone. At the back, we can see dual rear camera with the LED flash in-between. There’s no fingerprint scanner or a mention of Face ID though. It measures 9.7mm in thickness, weighs 170g overall and available in only Black.
Display
The Alpha A6 features a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 293 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 73.87% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go out of the box. Running the race here is the MT6739WA chipset from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz offering a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 8GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 64GB using a memory card. It comes with 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Haier Alpha A6 is equipped with dual 8MP + 2MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 5MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
Battery
Powering up the Alpha A6 is a 3000mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.4 hours.
