Guophone X3 has just been launched by Guophone as the company’s latest affordable rugged smartphone. The X3 is currently the cheapest rugged smartphone with notch display right now. It’s powered by a massive 4500mAh battery and also more trendy than the V88 we saw from the company weeks ago.
Design
A combination of Plastic and Rubber exudes at the rear making the device strong enough. It’s IP67 certified as well, offering dust and water resistant for up to 30 minutes underwater. There’s a fingerprint reader at the rear for quick access to the device. It measures 14.2mm in thickness and will be available in only Black and Orange.
Display
The X3 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 540 x 1132 pixels in resolution along with a 228 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 72.08% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek is in control, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card is in control of everything graphics. The X3 boasts of a 16GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 2GB RAM space, this can be used to multitask through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Guophone X3 comes with a single 8MP rear camera for all your photographs. The camera is equipped with a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 2MP selfie shooter at the top bezel.
Battery
Powering up the X3 is a 4500mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2 hours tops.
