Ginzzu RS8502 is the latest affordable rugged smartphone from Ginzzu, the device will be made available immediately in Russia and globally further on. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, there’s 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space. One of its highlights is the IP68 certified body which can last underwater for up to 30 minutes, compared to the price, that’s impressive.
Design
Rubber and metal were used in making this device really rugged. Although it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, it comes pre-loaded with a face unlock feature. The device measures 11.9mm in thickness and will be available in Black, Orange, Red and Green colours.
Display
The RS8502 is built around a 5-inch HD IPS LCD standard display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1280 pixels in resolution along with a 294 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 56.5% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Steering the wheel, is the MT6739WW chipset from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz offering a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 32GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. It comes with 3GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Ginzzu RS8502 houses an 8MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 2MP shooter.
Battery
Powering up the RS8502 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.6 hours.
