Exclusive: Hisense officially debuts the U30 with 8GB RAM & Snapdragon 675

HiSense has just introduced its most talked about smartphone ahead of its official unveiling tomorrow, we can confirm. The HiSense U30 was first spotted at the CES 2019 with the new Snapdragon 675, 8GB RAM and punch-hole display.

Now, the smartphone in all it’s glory has made its official debut to the Chinese market. It runs on Android 9 Pie, with either 8GB/6GB RAM and a base 128GB storage.

It’s built around a 6.3 FHD+ 1080p display and has a punch-hole which houses the 20MP selfie camera with AI and Face Unlock. The device was designed with a selection of calfskin which was imported from Argentina and luxury stamp, thanks to the luxury leather processing.

One of its highlights, is the dual 48MP + 5MP rear camera which is similar to the one on the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Speaking of the Note 7 Pro, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 675 as well.

It also supports 4G LTE, Dual Bluetooth, NFC and 4500mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.0. It’s priced at ¥2799, which translates to $419.

Alongside the U30, Hisense also introduced a new lower mid-ranger in the name of King Kong 5.

It’s built around a 6.22 HD+ waterdrop display, powered by Snapdragon 439, with 13 + 2MP rear camera and 8MP selfie, the battery is 5500mAh and priced at ¥1399 ($209).
