Elephone SX was seen in a video with notch display and dual rear camera. The device was on showcase at the CSES in Hong Kong and might be hitting the stores in Q1 2019. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 626 and sports a tall 6.26-inch FHD+ notch display. It’s also worthy to note that the device in the video comes with the normal notch, which is a little bit different that the waterdrop notch on Elephone’s website. Reminds us of the PX and PX Mini.
Design
The phone comes with a plastic and metal mix body no doubt. It sports dual rear camera at the top left corner, while the fingerprint reader sits in the middle. It should be available in Blue and White colors, well, that’s the only two colours of the device we’ve seen so far.
Display
The SX is built around a 6.26-inch FHD+ IPS LCD notch display. The screen boasts of 2340 x 1080 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 83% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 626 chipset from MediaTek comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.2GHz offering a smooth ride.
The Adreno 506 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 64GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. It comes with 4GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Elephone SX houses dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Battery
Powering up the SX is a 4000mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 2 hours.
