Doogee X80 has finally been unveiled by Doogee and will be available on shopping stores immediately. The X80 is reportedly an upgrade to the Doogee X70 which was quite a trend on shopping stores this year. The new smartphone ditched the notched display we saw on its little sibling and opted for a simple full view display. According to Doogee, the X80 promises durable power with its slim body, just like the S80 Lite. There’s also support for Face Unlock as well.
Design
From the rear, it’s very identical to the X70, the dual rear camera is still in the iPhone X-like position, while the fingerprint scanner takes centre stage. The slim device which was made from Metal and Plastic measures 8.5mm in thickness, weighs just 154g overall and will be available in Black, Blue and Champagne.
Display
The X80 is built around 5.99-inch IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 269 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 78.83% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. Running the race here, is the MT6580P chipset from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 16GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 64GB using a memory card. You get just 1GB RAM space for multitasking through light apps and tasks.
Camera
The Doogee X80 sports dual 8MP + 5MP rear cameras for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter at the top bezel.
Battery
Powering up the X80 is a massive 4000mAh battery capacity without support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3 hours or more.
