DEXP T155 has been introduced by DEXP in Russia today, a rugged smartphone with IP68 certifications and a massive 5000mAh battery powering it up. Nonetheless, the device still focuses on those on a very tight budget who wants to use a rugged smartphone, just like the Nomu S50 Pro and Ulefone Armor 6.
Design
The device was designed with Plastic, Metal and a touch of Rubber. These elements gave the device the overall hard look and built. It sports dual camera at the rear with no fingerprint scanner in sight, this means you have to depend on the Face Unlock feature. It measures 13.9mm in thickness, weighs 270g overall and available in Black and Gold.
Display
The T155 is built around a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 294 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 62.72% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box as well. Sitting behind the screen is the MT6739 from MediaTek which comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.5GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card is in control of everything graphics. The phone packs 16GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 2GB RAM space, this can be used to multitask through apps and tasks.
Camera
The DEXP T155 features dual 13MP + 13MP rear camera for taking photographs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for that.
Battery
Powering up the T155 is a 5000mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 3.5 hours tops.
