Cubot King Kong 3 has been launched by Cubot as the latest installment to its King Kong rugged series. The King Kong 3 comes with an improved rugged body that can withstand the test of water and ice. It’s powered by the Helio P23 and paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There’s support for NFC, USB Type C, Dual Rear Camera and more.
Design
The King Kong 3 was made purely from Polycarbonate with intense rubber finishing to achieve a rugged beast. Nonetheless, it sports dual rear camera and a rear fingerprint scanner. It measures 13.3mm in thickness and will be available in only Black color.
Display
The phone is built around a 5.5-inch HD+ 18:9 full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 293 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 61.55% screen-to-body ratio as well.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, the Helio P23 chipset from MediaTek runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB with a memory card. It has 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with a 16MP rear camera with autofocus for photography and accompanied with other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 13MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 6000mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 3.2 hours.
