BLU Vivo Go has been announced and teased by the company as the first smartphone with Google’s Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition. The operating system was folked out of the latest Android Pie software and was specifically designed to power up smartphone with 1GB RAM or lower, just like the Oreo Go Edition.
Design
The device has a Plastic body with a Metal frame that reflects light beautifully. It sports an iPhone X-like dual rear camera and a rear fingerprint scanner as well, just like the Studio Mega 2018. It was announced in Black colour only, no words if other colors would be rolled out as well.
Display
The Vivo Go is built around a 6-inch HD+ full view display, there’s no notch here like we saw on the Vivo XI Plus. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 268 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 75% screen-to-body as well.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie Go Edition out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek runs the race, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 64GB using a memory card. It boasts of just 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The BLU Vivo Go is equipped with dual 8MP + 2MP rear camera for photography. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. In the selfie department, there’s an 8MP selfie shooters for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Vivo Go is a 2600mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.2 hours.
