BLU Studio Mega 2018 has been introduced as the upgraded variant of the first Studio Mega smartphone from Blu. This is coming just weeks after we saw the Blu Advance L4 budget-friendly smartphone and Blu Vivo XI Plus flagship. The 2018 version sports the trendy full view display and dual rear camera at the rear. The design has been improved as well, making it look more stunning and beautiful.
Design
The device was designed with aluminium alloy and plastic alongside a metallic finish to bring out the best of the body. It’s definitely one of the good looking affordable smartphones you can get right now. It measures 8.4mm in thickness and weighs 155g overall. You should be able to get it in Black, Blue and Silver colors as well.
Display
The Studio Mega 2018 is built around a 6-inch HD+ full view display. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 268 pixel per inch density for sharp visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 79.09% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6580 chipset from MediaTek sits behind the screen, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.4GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card manages graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. It boasts of 1GB RAM space for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 13MP + 2MP rear shooters at the rear. The camera is accompanied by a LED flash and other internal features. For taking selfies, there’s a single 8MP selfie shooter for all your selfies as well.
Battery
Powering up the Mega 2018 is a 2600mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.8 hours.
