BLU Advance A6 2018 has been introduced by BLU and is already available on shopping stores today. The budget-friendly smartphone came as a surprise even when we were expecting the first Android Pie Go device from BLU. Well, the A6 2018 runs on Android 8.1 Go Edition with full view display and dual rear camera.
Design
The phone is equipped with an iPhone X-like dual cam at the rear and made entirely of Plastic. The fingerprint scanner sits in its usual position of course, which is at the middle. The dimensions weren’t revealed by BLU but it’s only available in Black at the moment, other colours might be introduced later on.
Display
The device is built around a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD full view display, for entertainment. The screen boasts of 720 x 1440 pixels in resolution along with a 268 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Overall, the screen stretches up to 80% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box. Running the race underneath is the MT6580 chipset from MediaTek, it comes with 4-cores of processor clocking at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card handles everything graphics. The A6 2018 boasts of 16GB internal storage space for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. The phone has just 1GB RAM space available for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The BLU Advance A6 2018 sports dual 13MP + 2MP camera for all your photography needs. The camera features f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter for that.
Battery
Powering up the Advance A6 (2018) is a 2600mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging as well. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.6 hours.
