Blackview Max 1 just showed up on AliExpress. It looks like the company isn’t slowing down this 2019 as they keep on dishing out smartphones every two weeks. We previously reported about the Blackview BV5500 which was introduced as a Xiaomi Black Shark killer. Now, Blackview has introduced a new model called, the Max 1. It comes with dual selfie cam, mini projector, AMOLED screen, Helio P23 and 6GB RAM. Lets find out more.
Design
The device looks rugged no doubt, however, there wasn’t any mention of its IP certifications. But we do know it was made from a combination of Metal & Plastic. It measures 10.2mm in thickness and was introduced in only Black.
Display
The Max 1 features a 6-inch AMOLED full view display. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 402 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 78.23% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Running the race, is the Helio P23 (MT6763T) chip from MediaTek which comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 2.3GHz offering a smooth ride.
The ARM Mali-G71 MP2 graphics card handles everything graphics. The phone packs 64GB internal storage space for storing your files, you can expand up to 128GB using a memory card. It comes with 6GB RAM space for multitasking through apps and tasks.
Camera
The Blackview Max 1 houses a 16MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a dual-LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a dual 16MP + 2MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering up the Max 1 is a 4000mAh battery capacity with no support for fast charging. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 3 hours.
