Remember Ran NeuNer? The host of CNBC’s CryptoTrader show who predicted earlier that Bitcoin (BTC) will reach $50,000 by the end of 2018. Well, he has retracted his claim saying “given we are in a bear market and no good news is moving the market, I can’t see a $50k btc this year.”
He even went further to his Twitter and pinned a tweet that says; “For the record, I am pinning this tweet. Bitcoin will not finish 2018 at $50,000.”
The outspoken bitcoin trader claims that he had changed his stance due to the recent state of the market. Bitcoin yesterday celebrated 10 years of existence. Compared to the price 10 years ago, there’s been an obvious and major increase in price.
However, this year isn’t one of the best for the Cryptocurrency and even all cryptocurrencies. They all lost about 60% of their worth compared to what we saw in January 2018.
If Ran NeuNer who has always hyped the increase of the Cryptocurrency could actually tweet this. Then this means the coin might not get to its peak ($19K) again this year.
Bitcoin has been trading at $6,400-$6,500 for several weeks now, which is disappointing for traders. Jamie Dimon, who is the CEO of JPMorgan also said he doesn’t give a sh*t about the Cryptocurrency right now.
Meanwhile, UnitedBitcoin, a fork out of Bitcoin has been the best performer today. The coin went from $2.5 to $2.7, gaining about 3.47% in price. Others are pretty much stable with their prices as it’s been a normal day in the crypto world.
