Archos unveils the Diamond smartphone with UD fingerprint and Pop-up Selfie

Archos has just introduced a new smartphone tagged Archos Diamond with Helio P70 and Pop-up Selfie camera, similar to the one we saw on the V15 Pro. This is coming barely hours after introducing the Oxygen 57, Oxygen 63 and Oxygen 68 XL lower mid-range smartphones.

The smartphone is currently the French’s company flagship, featuring no bezels whatsoever. It’s built around a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that houses a UD fingerprint sensor and sports dual rear camera for photography.

The 16MP shooter is a Sony IMX499 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens while the 5MP depth lens is from Samsung. There’s an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 camera with f/2.0 aperture that pops-up once you open the camera app.

Internally, it’s powered by the Helio P70 with octa-core processor and a dedicated AI NeuroPilot unit. There’s also 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space. It’s powered by a 3400mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Speaking of support, there’s VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. The price hasn’t been revealed yet.
