Archos announces its new Oxygen smartphones ahead of the MWC

The MWC is coming and all smartphone makers are prepping up to release their stunning devices. Well, it looks like ARCHOS couldn’t wait any longer, as the company just introduced three new Oxygen smartphones ahead of their official unveiling at the MWC.

The smartphones are ARCHOS Oxygen 57, Oxygen 63 and Oxygen 68 XL. The 57 and 63 are pretty much similar compared to the 68 XL. First of all, they are both powered by the Unisoc SC9863 with octa-core processor and features the waterdrop notch with 3/32GB and 4/64GB storage respectively.

However, the 57 has a 5.7-inch screen, while the 63 has a 6.3-inch screen, hence the name. Nonetheless, the screen resolution on both devices is the same, 720 x 1520 pixels. The 57 has 2,800mAh battery, while the 63 got a 3000mAh battery.

They are both equipped with the same 8MP + 0.3MP rear camera and 5MP selfie. Well, the 68 XL adopts this same camera configuration set-up as well. However, it’s obvious every other specs on this one will be different.

First of all, the 68 XL has a notch placed on the side and reminds us of the Hotwav Symbol S9L. Apart from that, it’s powered by the Helio P22 chip, a massive 5000mAh battery and 3/32GB storage. The new Oxygen devices run on Android Pie out of the box and ARCHOS claims they will all be below €150.
