Amid price spike, Bitcoin ATMs reaches 5000 worldwide

Global Bitcoin ATMs have reached an all-time high, yesterday, the 24th of June. According to reports from CoinATMRadar, there are now more than 5,000 Bitcoin ATMs currently active worldwide.

The ATMs are spread across over 90 countries, crypto enthusiasts can now easily sell or buy Bitcoins using these ATMs. However, there are obviously more of those machines in the United States than anywhere else in the world (3,000+).

The highest installations reportedly happened this month, a total of 150+ installations already happened this month. With 6 ATMs being installed everyday, and the numbers are expected to increase rapidly over the coming weeks.

Bitcoin is currently trading just above $11,000 as of today, after getting a 30% increase in price within a week. The flagship coin is predicted to peak just above $20,000 before the end of July, we previously reported.
