Allview Soul X5 Mini is now official, the smartphone is the watered-down variant of the Soul X5 Mini Pro which was introduced a couple of months ago. The mini version sports a smaller notched screen and low-end specs. Lets find out more.
Design
The X5 Mini looks exactly like the Pro version and was built with a combination of Metal and Plastic. We can see the dual rear camera and LED flash in a vertical position at the top left corner. It will be available in Black and Gold colors.
Display
The phone sports a tall 5.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD notched display. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1498 pixels along with a 293 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. Impressively, the screen got up to 77.46% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
The new smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Under the hood, the MT6739 chipset from MediaTek runs the show, coming with 4-cores of processor which clocks at 1.3GHz for a smooth ride.
The PowerVR GE8100 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 16GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 256GB with a memory card. It has just 2GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.
Camera
It’s equipped with dual 13MP + 0.3MP rear camera for photography and accompanied by a LED flash alongside other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 5MP selfie shooter.
Battery
Powering it up is a 3050mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.3 hours.
