AGM A9 is finally here guys, we saw the H1 few weeks ago after AGM admitted another new model is coming soon enough. Well, meet the A9, a rugged smartphone that packs a bunch in terms of battery capacity. It’s also equipped with JBL Tuned Speakers for a brand new hearing experience. It also comes with a FM built-in antenna and a dual noise reduction function.
Design
As expected, the phone takes pride in its IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certifications, offering water, dust and scratch resistant. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner for quick access, while sporting just a single rear camera at the rear. It measures 12.6mm in thickness, weighs a whopping 250g overall and is available in only Black.
Display
The A9 is built around a 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD full view display, for your viewing pleasure. The screen boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution along with a 403 pixel per inch density for clear visuals as well. Overall, the screen stretches up to 67.93% screen-to-body ratio.
Software and Hardware
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In charge here is the Snapdragon 450 chipset from Qualcomm, it comes with 8-cores of processor clocking at 1.8GHz for a smooth ride.
The Qualcomm Adreno 506 graphics card handles everything graphics. The A9 boasts of 32GB/64GB internal storage space variants for storing up your files, this is expandable up to 128GB using a memory card. The phone has just 3GB/4GB RAM space variants available for multitasking through apps.
Camera
The AGM A9 features a single 12MP rear camera for all your photography needs. The camera is equipped with a LED flash and other internal features listed in the table below. For taking selfies, there’s a 16MP selfie shooter for all your selfies.
Battery
Powering up the AGM A9 is a massive 5400mAh battery capacity with support for fast charging as well. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn’t take up to 3 hours.
