After accepting Bitcoin: KFC to start accepting Dashcoin from next week

A Kentucky Fried Chicken joint (popularly known as KFC) in Venezuela has announced they will start accepting Dashcoin as payments from Monday.

This makes KFC one of the food outlets in Venezuela accepting more than one cryptocurrencies. Just like Bitcoin, Dashcoin is also limited, with only 20 million of the coin existing, while over 8 million have been mined already.

According to Alejandro Echeverría, who is the co-founder of DashHelp, he said the partnership has been cultivated over the last three months and he’s very excited that it has finally fallen into place.

Not only KFC accepts Dashcoin in Venezuela, Subway Papa John’s Pizza also accepts the premium cryptocurrency in the country.

Bitcoin Canada

KFC have been accepting Bitcoin for a while now, with the company’s Canada account tweeting a bucket of chicken selling at 0.001 BTC months ago.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still trading around the same price we reported yesterday, after reaching their lowest price this year.

Although, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao has said that he believes Bitcoin will “recover faster than Nasdaq”, assuring investors not to sell out their digital currencies.
